Local sources in Kandahar province report that a man in the Spin Boldak district first murdered his wife and then ended his own life with a gunshot.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, October 26, in the "Menar Chok" area of Spin Boldak district. This area is located near the border with Pakistan.
A source told the media that the deceased man was named "Orang" and was about 30 years old. According to the source, he was originally from Sar-e Pol province but had been living in Kandahar for a long time.
The motive and primary cause of this tragic event have not yet been clarified, and no further details have been released by local officials. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
