Following the killing of three American soldiers in northeastern Jordan near the Syrian border,
US President Joe Biden said on Sunday that the attack was carried out by Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq.According to the reports of the Central Command of the United States in the Middle East (CENTCOM), at least 34 other American soldiers were wounded in this attack.
It should be noted that Iran’s representation in the United Nations also said in a statement today that Tehran was not involved in the attack that killed three American soldiers in Jordan.
At the same time, the spokesman of the Jordanian government, while condemning the air attack on the American military headquarters on the border of this country and Syria, said that this attack did not cause any casualties among the Jordanian armed forces.
