Emphasizing that Russia’s defeat in the war is not possible without Kiev’s military superiority, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy asked his western allies not to delay in sending missile defense systems to this country.

In his weekly speech, referring to the recent missile attack by the Russian army on a residential building in Odessa, Zelensky said that they need air defense systems to deal with such attacks.

Zelensky added: “Our allies have missile defense devices, sufficient systems to protect against unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles, and the delay in providing these devices and the required weapons to Ukraine will lead to such losses.”

Addressing the Western authorities, he clarified: “Ukraine has not asked for anything more than what is needed to protect human lives, while more and more people are losing their lives here, but the politicians in the countries that support us are simply playing political games.” “They are busy with their internal affairs or disputes, and this has led to the weakening of our defense situation.”
