The Taliban government’s Ministry of Defense has announced that their border forces have targeted Pakistani military centers in response to this morning’s attacks.
In a statement they published on their X page (former Twitter), it is stated: “The border forces of the Taliban, using heavy weapons, destroyed the military centers of Pakistan along the hypothetical line.” The Ministry of Defense of the Taliban also added that the defense and security forces are ready to respond to any aggression and will defend their territorial integrity in any situation.
At the same time, sources from Dandpatan district of Paktia have reported to Radio Azadi that Taliban forces clashed with Pakistani soldiers in this area this morning.
So far, the exact and official statistics of the number of casualties in this conflict have not been published by both sides
