Russia’s support for the Taliban joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and holding the Moscow format meeting in Tehran
Zamir Kabulov, Russia’s special representative for Afghanistan, has said that Moscow will support the country’s accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).Tass news agency reported on Tuesday, 15th of Joza, that Kabulov said these words in a press conference.
According to him, this support is provided if the Taliban are recognized.
He added that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is primarily an economic organization, and for this reason, Afghanistan must organize its economy in a way so that other members of this organization see its logical inclusion.
Meanwhile; On Tuesday, 15th of Gemini, Tass news agency reported, quoting Kabulov, that the meeting will be held on June 8th (19th of Gemini) this year.
He added: “We have discussed with the representatives of the Afghan leadership about the preparations for the next third meeting of the special representatives for Afghanistan and the Secretary General of the United Nations in Doha.”
