🔹 Netanyahu’s Speech and Washington Protests: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began his speech at the U.S. Congress joint session. Simultaneously, thousands protested outside the Congress against Israeli operations in Gaza, and over 50 Democratic members chose not to attend the session due to humanitarian concerns and civilian casualties in Gaza.

🔹 Commencement of Mining Activities at Aynak Copper Mine: Preliminary work for the extraction of copper at the Aynak mine in Logar province officially started on Wednesday. This $3 billion project, which had been halted due to security issues and concerns about historical artifacts, has now resumed with the presence of Taliban officials, Chinese diplomats, and traders.

🔹 Changes in Afghan University Curriculum: The Taliban Ministry of Higher Education has announced changes to the university curriculum in Afghanistan, which have been submitted to the Council of Ministers for approval. This has caused concern among students, professors, and educational activists due to the lack of detailed information about these changes.

🔹 Closure of Torkham Border Crossing: Reports indicate that the Torkham border crossing, one of the most important gateways between Afghanistan and Pakistan, has been closed. This closure has created problems for travelers, patients, and Afghan traders. One trader mentioned that he faced losses last year due to the crossing’s closure and is now facing additional difficulties.

🔹 Weak Passport Ranking for Afghanistan: According to the Henley Passport Index, Afghanistan’s passport has been ranked as the “weakest” passport globally and is positioned at 182nd. This ranking indicates that the credibility of Afghanistan’s passport has reached its lowest point in the 19-year history of this index, and the number of countries Afghan citizens can visit without a visa has decreased from 27 to 26 in the past six months.
