Pop star Katy Perry, 40, was spotted dining with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday night at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.

According to TMZ, this outing comes just weeks after the singer’s split from Orlando Bloom following a 9-year relationship.

In a video now viral on X social media platform, the “Roar” hitmaker can be seen engaged in conversation with the Canadian politician.
Eyewitnesses told TMZ that Perry and Trudeau enjoyed several dishes including lobster but skipped cocktails during their meal.

The pair wasn’t alone at the restaurant and was heavily protected by security guards.

At one point, Perry and Trudeau were greeted by the restaurant’s chef, and later visited the kitchen to personally thank the staff members.
The meeting occurred during the singer’s Canadian tour, with performances taking place in Ottawa and Montreal.

Earlier this month, representatives for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom issued a joint statement addressing their separation.

The statement indicated that the former couple is now focusing on co-parenting their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
