Local sources in Kunar province report that a land dispute between two cousins in Suki district resulted in two deaths and six injuries. The incident occurred Wednesday night in the Patan area of the district.
According to reports, Dawood and Hazrat Ali lost their lives in the conflict. Six other family members, all cousins, were wounded and transferred to Nangarhar regional hospital for treatment.
The Taliban group in Kunar has not yet commented on the incident. The medical condition of the injured remains unclear at this time.
