Local sources confirmed that the son of a merchant in Helmand, who was kidnapped 9 days ago near a school in Lashkar Gah, has been killed by his kidnappers.

The child’s body was discovered in Sangin district.

The kidnappers had demanded $150,000 from the family, but they were unable to pay this amount.

After the murder, they threw the child’s body into a well.

A video circulated on social media shows the child asking his father to provide money for his rescue.

In recent months, cases of armed robbery and kidnapping have increased across the country, creating widespread concern among citizens.

The Taliban group has not yet commented on this incident.
