Local sources from Baghlan reported that Mansour Mansoori, Taliban district governor of Banu Andrab district, broke the neck of a local resident named Zakaria during a beating incident.

This event occurred approximately one week ago.

Zakaria is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Pul-e-Khumri, the center of Baghlan province, and his health condition is reported as critical.

The Taliban deputy governor of Baghlan has referred this local official to the prosecutor’s office, but Mansoori has not appeared with the support of the Taliban security commander.

Sources emphasize that Mansour Mansoori is known for violent behavior toward local people, and this recent action has sparked a wave of concern and anger among local residents.

The Taliban group has not commented on this matter so far.
