Sources in Farah province report the discovery of three young girls’ bodies in a well in Khak-e-Safid district of the province.

The children were between five and ten years old, with two being sisters and the third their cousin.

According to reports, these girls had disappeared from their homes eleven days ago, and their bodies were found yesterday in Sarji village.

The Taliban security command in Farah has also confirmed this news.

It remains unclear how these children fell into the well and lost their lives.

Since the Taliban takeover, the rate of murders and criminal acts, including child killings, has significantly increased across various parts of the country.
