Elon Musk, owner of X platform, has repeatedly urged users to cancel their Netflix subscriptions over the past week.
This campaign was triggered by criticism of Hamish Steele, creator of Netflix’s “Dead End: Paranormal Park,” over his comments about Charlie Kirk’s death, a conservative activist who was shot in September.
Musk posted multiple messages on X stating “Cancel Netflix” and “Cancel Netflix for the health of your kids”.
He also criticized Netflix’s diversity and inclusion reports, claiming the company discriminates against white people.
The billionaire’s statements coincided with a 2.2% drop in Netflix stock to $1,173.12.
Musk describes this campaign as part of his broader fight against what he calls the “woke mind virus”.
He has previously targeted other organizations for spreading progressive ideology, particularly around gender identity issues.
