Local sources from Kunduz province reported that fiber optic internet services have been cut off again in the province.
The outage began Monday night, and no official explanation has been provided by the Taliban group so far.
According to reports, local Taliban authorities have ordered fiber optic service providers to suspend these services until further notice. However, point-to-point internet services remain active in the province.
This action comes while the Taliban group had previously cut internet and telecommunications networks across Afghanistan for two consecutive days.
The fiber optic internet shutdown, ordered by the Taliban leader, has now affected more than ten provinces across the country.
The Taliban’s systematic restriction of high-speed internet access continues to impact daily life and business operations throughout Afghanistan.
