Maulvi Nur Jalal Jalali, Taliban’s Public Health Minister, emphasized that Afghanistan should utilize existing opportunities and achieve self-sufficiency in the medical sector during the annual meeting of the French Health Institute for Mother and Child in Kabul on Thursday, November 12.
He stressed the necessity of learning modern technology in the health sector, stating that doctors must align their skills with new medical methods. Jalali also clarified that continuous training and capacity building are essential for competing with other countries in the medical field.
These statements come as the Taliban group strives to improve the country’s health system and attract international assistance in this area.
