Amrullah Saleh, former Vice President of Afghanistan, reshared a video of Ahmad Shah Massoud, the national hero, praising his vision and belief in Afghanistan and Afghans.
Saleh wrote that Massoud’s words tell only the story of Afghanistan and Afghans, dedicating the message to those who consider the constitution forged.
In the video, Massoud emphasizes his readiness to negotiate with the Taliban to establish peace, though he calls the Taliban “slaves of Pakistan.”
He says true peace is only possible when foreign hands withdraw from Afghanistan and Afghans negotiate among themselves.
Saleh added that Massoud considered being Afghan his identity and pride, but some still do not accept this reality.
He stressed that Massoud’s national and independent vision is more important for Afghanistan today than ever before.
