Yasin Zia, leader of the Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF), has vowed to avenge the death of General Ekramuddin Saree, the former police chief of Takhar.
Speaking at a memorial service, Zia declared that the group would not let the killing of the prominent commander go unanswered

His death is seen as a major loss for the anti-Taliban resistance movement, fueling calls for retribution.
