Choreographer Farah Khan dropped a bombshell during a chat with Vir Das, claiming Aamir Khan cut short Vir’s item song “Jaa Chudail” in the movie Delhi Belly out of jealousy.
While Vir was told it was due to pacing issues, Farah joked that Aamir did it because his own song was scheduled to play next in the film .
Vir Das, who is making his directorial debut with Happy Patel produced by Aamir Khan, also shared a funny anecdote about wearing Aamir’s leather pants for the song. He laughed about having to wear extra padding to fit into the superstar’s trousers during the shoot .
Happy Patel, starring Imran Khan, is set to release on January 16 and is described as a spoof comedy. Vir compared it to the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna, though he was shocked to learn from Farah that the classic film was actually a box office flop when it was first released .
