The National Resistance Front (NRF) of Afghanistan has claimed responsibility for an attack on a Taliban checkpoint in Kunduz city, stating that two Taliban members were killed .
According to the NRF, the assault took place near the Imam Sahib port, and their forces retreated without suffering any casualties .
Although the incident reportedly occurred earlier in the week, the NRF released the details on Monday.
Local Taliban officials in Kunduz have not yet commented on the claim. The NRF continues to report guerrilla operations against Taliban positions across northern Afghanistan .
