The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has explicitly stated that fortifying the border between Tajikistan and Afghanistan remains its utmost priority. This critical regional security initiative was extensively discussed between the CSTO Secretary-General and the President of Kyrgyzstan.
During their strategic meeting in Bishkek, both leaders highlighted that ensuring lasting stability in Afghanistan is fundamentally essential for the overall security of Central Asia. They strongly praised the successful progress of joint security programs designed to protect regional borders efficiently.
Additionally, the CSTO formally announced plans to conduct large-scale joint military exercises in the second half of the current year. Member states also held specialized meetings in Moscow focusing heavily on preventing cyber threats and expanding preventive diplomacy measures.
