Pakistan's Ministry of Information has strongly dismissed claims regarding attacks on residential areas and a local university in Kunar province. The ministry labeled these reports as completely false and baseless attempts to hide terrorist activities.
Pakistani officials emphasized that their military operations are strictly intelligence based and exclusively target the infrastructure of armed terrorist groups. They stated that any military action on Afghan soil would be officially announced if it ever happens.
However, the Taliban government previously reported that dozens of civilians were killed or injured following recent cross border missile strikes. Pakistan continues to accuse the neighboring country of harboring militant groups that threaten regional stability.
