The Taliban government police command in Paktia province has reported that at least twenty six traffic accidents occurred in the province during the days of Eid. These unfortunate incidents have caused significant casualties and financial damages to the citizens.
According to the published reports, a child lost their life and eighteen other individuals were severely injured as a result of these collisions. The injured victims were immediately transferred to local hospitals to receive urgent medical treatment.
Previously, Taliban government officials had announced that over eighty traffic accidents were recorded across four provinces of the country during the Eid holidays. Careless driving and the excessive speed of cars are cited as the primary reasons for these tragic crashes.
