A spokesperson for the provincial police command stated that the fatal accident took place on Tuesday afternoon in the village of Gokha. Authorities have attributed the cause of this tragic drowning to extreme carelessness and lack of safety precautions while swimming in the deep waters of the dam.
The bodies of the deceased were successfully retrieved from the water with the active collaboration of local residents. After completing legal procedures, they were handed over to their grieving families.
