Noorullah Noori the borders minister of the Taliban government declared in Kabul that protecting the security and soil of Afghanistan remains their top priority. These strong statements were made just one day after Pakistan launched deadly airstrikes on the eastern regions of the country.
Speaking to a gathering of religious scholars he emphasized that no one will be allowed to disrupt the security of Afghanistan. Noori sternly warned that any aggressive invader who looks at this land with malicious intent has always faced a devastating and historic defeat.
The minister urged the general public to maintain their national unity and continue supporting the current ruling system. Meanwhile Pakistan has repeatedly targeted various areas in the border provinces with heavy and unprovoked aerial bombardments during the current month causing civilian casualties.
