Taliban local officials in Farah said they burned more than 10 tons of various drugs collected over the past 10 months.
The Taliban police spokesperson in Farah stated that the drugs included 34 different types seized in separate operations across the province.
Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid also claimed over 46,000 anti-narcotics operations were carried out last year resulting in the destruction of 21,569 hectares of poppy fields.
