The media outlet "Zawia News" has published images showing Taliban members resting on official chairs inside a government office, drawing fresh criticism over the group's use of state facilities.

The exact time, location, and identities of the individuals in the photos are not clear. However, their publication comes amid complaints from some visitors to government departments about the work ethic of Taliban employees.

According to these visitors, a number of employees and officials are often seen on their mobile phones, resting, or sleeping during official work hours. This situation reportedly slows down public services, forcing people to wait for hours.

This is not the first time such behavior has been reported. Previously, Afghanistan International cited its sources in Kabul reporting that some Taliban members were using rooms and official halls in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building for sleeping.

According to that report, some domestic and foreign guests visiting the ministry for diplomatic meetings had seen individuals sleeping under desks and in meeting halls.

Previous reports sparked reactions on social media, with users criticizing the work culture and the use of state facilities in Taliban-run offices. The Taliban have not yet commented on the new photos published by Zawia News.
