Noorullah Noori, Taliban Minister for Borders, Tribes and Ethnic Affairs, says the group has “no concerns” about its opponents because, he claims, there is no room for opposition in Afghanistan.
He made the remarks during a meeting with religious scholars and tribal elders from northern and northeastern provinces.
Noori added that Afghans have no differences among themselves and that past disagreements were created by foreign intelligence circles and occupiers.
