Local sources in Farah say thieves raided a shop in Bakwa district stabbed a young man named Irfan to death and stole 500000 Afghanis. Irfan originally from Helmand worked as a clerk in the shop.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening 17 September in the Wadud market of Bakwa district. Sources say Irfan used to sleep at his workplace at night.
Several cases of killings by thieves have been reported in various provinces this year.
