Mohammad Qawi Koshan, a prominent cultural figure and owner of Omid publication in Virginia, USA, has passed away, causing profound grief in the Afghan cultural community.
The late Koshan had been active in the publishing and cultural arena for many years, and through his tireless efforts, played a significant role in preserving and promoting Afghan culture abroad.
According to the family’s announcement, the burial ceremony for the late Mohammad Qawi Koshan will be held on Thursday, August 21, at 1:00 PM at Bagh-e-Ferdows (Paradise Garden) located in Alexandria, Virginia. 
Additionally, a memorial service will take place from 4:00 to 5:30 PM on the same day at the blessed Mosque of Hazrat Mustafa (PBUH) in Annandale, Virginia.
The leadership board of Zarrin Global Television, headed by Mr. Noor Wojohat, extends their condolences for this great loss to the deceased’s survivors, including his respected wife Dr. Samila Seraj Koshan, his sons Haji Mohammad Qawim Koshan, the late Mohammad Asim Koshan, and other family members and the Afghan cultural community.
