Rajesh Kumar, Satish Shah’s co-star from Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, revealed the truth behind the veteran actor’s death.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, he clarified that Satish Shah passed away on October 25 due to a heart attack, not kidney failure.
Rajesh, who played Satish’s on-screen son, explained: “He was at home, having lunch, and then he just… passed away due to sudden cardiac arrest”.
He emphasized that while Satish had kidney issues in the past, they were under control and not the cause of death.
The funeral of the 74-year-old actor was held at a crematorium in Bandra, attended by Bollywood celebrities including Farah Khan, Johnny Lever, and Suresh Oberoi. Satish Shah appeared in numerous hit Bollywood films including Hum Aapke Hain Koun!, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and Kal Ho Naa Ho, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in Indian cinema.
