A tragic incident in Herat has left a 26-year-old man, Nimatullah Azizi, dead after being struck by Taliban gunfire.

Sources confirm the shooting occurred on the 64-Metre Road when security forces opened fire to stop a group of stunt drivers, accidentally hitting Azizi’s vehicle instead .


Azizi was reportedly driving home with a companion, who was also injured in the shooting; the condition of the wounded passenger remains unclear.
