Russian Ambassador to Venezuela, Melik Bagdasarov, has declared that Moscow and Caracas are maintaining full strategic cooperation across all sectors.
Following a meeting with the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, he highlighted the 2025 partnership agreement now in force.
The ambassador emphasized that communication between the two capitals hasn’t stopped “for even a minute,” despite the US seizing a Russia-linked oil tanker.
He noted that Venezuelan officials have kept Russia informed about US actions and the situation regarding President Maduro.
These statements come as the US, under President Trump’s policy, intensifies efforts to block Venezuelan oil exports.
While oil prices fluctuate globally, allies like China and Russia have condemned the US operations and reiterated support for Venezuela.
